The State of most Churches today.
Gideon said to Him, “O my lord, if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us? And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about, saying, ‘Did not the Lord bring us up from Egypt?’ But now the Lord has forsaken us and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.” Judge 6:13 NKJV
Gideon, once asked this question to the Angel of the LORD, “if the Lord is with us, why then has all this happened to us?” In other words, where is the Presence of God or where is His Manifest Presence? These are the questions being asked by most Christians of this generation. And the non-Christians of today are asking these questions to the Christians of today, where is your God and where is your Jesus Christ? There is nothing that shows that He is with you now…
Gideon then asked the next question, “And where are all His miracles which our fathers told us about?” Most Christians of this generation are also asking the same question, where are all the Healing Miracles that the Bible talks about? And the non-Christians are asking, where is the Evidence of the Signs and Wonders that shows your God is alive?
Now, let us look at the answers to these questions…
The first reason is that in the Western world, Medicine has advanced in some good way that is causing so many to put their trust in Medicine and its practitioners instead of God. Despite the medical advancements, Medicine has also not been able to help as revealed by the many incurable sicknesses and diseases out there today. All the doctors could do is to put people on lifelong medications because there are no cures for the sicknesses and diseases.
Even though the medical community is doing their best to help people but because the prescribed medications have to be taken for life, and it does not cure, to some extent it looks like a placebo (A placebo is anything that seems to be a “real” medical treatment — but isn’t. It could be a pill, a shot, or some other type of “fake” treatment. – WebMD).
The second reason why these questions are being asked is very simple, many, many, many are not seeing the attesting Signs and Miracles that are supposed to accompany all the preaching that is going on today. And the reference scripture why most Christians are asking these questions is found in the Gospel of Mark chapter 16 verse 20 “And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the Attesting Signs and Miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen (so be it).” Amplified Version.
Here in the United States, there are many church building edifices. According to the National Congregational Study Survey, published in August 2020, there are an estimated 380,000 churches in the U.S. But the majority of these church buildings are empty (before the Covid-19 pandemic), even though more than 70 percent of the citizens still claim to be Christian. According to an article written by Jonathan Merritt of The Atlantic, 6,000 to 10,000 churches die each year in America.
You get the idea of what is going, I don’t want to make this article long.
Mark 16:20 And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the Attesting Signs and Miracles that closely accompanied [it]. Amen (so be it). AMP
The scripture above clearly shows why the early Church grew in leaps and bounds. In today’s Church in America, many preachers are preaching but the LORD is not working with them in His Manifest Presence, and as a result, Attesting Signs and Miracles, and Healings are not seen.
The Church of the Lord Jesus, needs to seek the Manifest Presence of the Holy Spirit, Who Endues with Power to do the things that Jesus did, and His Disciples did, and even the Greater Works that Jesus talked about.
Jesus instructed His disciples in Acts 1:4-5 NKJV, “And being assembled together with them, He commanded them not to depart from Jerusalem, but to wait for the Promise of the Father, “which,” He said, “you have heard from Me; for John truly baptized with water, but you shall be baptized with the Holy Spirit not many days from now.”
And the purpose of the waiting is to be Endued with the Holy Spirit and Power as it is written in Acts 1:8 “But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
And the disciples obeyed Jesus and waited in Acts 2:4 NKJV. “And they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The result of the waiting is the IN-FILLING of the Holy Spirit which brings POWER. The question is, are you FILLED, and are you FULL of the Holy Spirit and with POWER? This is what the Church of today is lacking. Jesus has sent the promise of the Father, who is the Holy Spirit and He is on earth right now. And all we have to do is to seek His Baptism and IN-FILLING and to allow Him to lead us and to work with us, and through us.
Are Miraculous Healings Happening Today?
Emphatically YES! If you will allow the Holy Spirit to Fill you, and to work with you, and through you, then you will find ATTESTING SIGNS AND MIRACULOUS HEALINGS following you.
Just this year alone, as at the time of writing this article on March 6, 2021, God, had worked so many Miraculous Healings in my ministry that is mind-blowing. But I will share about 3 notable ones among them.
The Healing of a Sciatic Nerve Pain condition.
First, a woman who lives in Washington DC and was diagnosed with Sciatica of the Nerve (Sciatica refers to pain that radiates along the path of the sciatic nerve, which branches from your lower back through your hips and buttocks and down each leg. Typically, sciatica affects only one side of your body.- Mayo Clinic).
According to her testimony, she traveled to another country for a visit outside the United States. She said she woke up from sleep one day only to find out that she was in serious pain from her hips through one of her legs. She said the pain was so severe and unbearable, that she will be crying and shouting all the time for help. The medical specialists in the country did their best but could not help so she flew to the United States to seek medical help.
When she got to the States she was admitted and treated with all the best medical treatment but nothing helped. Later, she was going to be transferred to another hospital but because of the Covid-19 situation, she objected to going to that hospital. She was then discharged to go home without any improvement.
As a Christian, she was praying for help from God for the medical condition she was going through. Then, God sent her the help she needed. One of her cousins in New York City sent her a video link to one of my ministration healing videos on YouTube. The title is called – “Testimony of a 15 over 10 Pain-level INSTANTANEOUS HEALING (A Time of Miracles & Healings Series 05).”
She said when she started watching the video, God healed her and took away the pain instantly. Then she called her cousin to request my phone number to call me. She called me so excited to let me know what God had done through my ministration from the video.
If this were the only testimony in the world, it should tell you that God is still alive and performing Miraculous Healings. You can be healed of your sicknesses and diseases. The Healing of Cancer and Excruciating pain
The second testimony is from a lady who lives in the Bronx in New York. And these are her own words… “Dear Apostle Charles Okai, we’ve been blessed with another day, and we thank God for it.
Just to thank you for everything you did for me yesterday. Spending such a long time with me, and helping me remember the “WORDS” that we forget and their true meaning!!
Before you called me to pray with me, my body was in such excruciating pain, my bones, including even my teeth, and muscles hijacked by side effects of some medication that’s supposed to actually ‘help’ me to combat a breast cancer diagnosis, such crippling pain…, then you showed up!
After reminding me of words that we all recite almost regularly, but actually haven’t stopped to give them their actual meaning, and very strong prayers from you, and helping me to say my prayers and wishes to the Almighty, this surprising thing happened that I couldn’t find the right words to explain.
Right afterward, I was able to actually do squats, right as you were on the phone with me, movements that I couldn’t even think of doing, just before you called me.
I knew I was healed! I knew I was healed! I felt no more pains in my legs, pains that reduced me to tears all the time were gone. My sudden healing also brought me to tears! Unbelievable! Thank you, God!
Thank you, God, for always reminding us to trust and believe,… Thank you for sending me your angel, Apostle Charles Okai, to guide and remind me of what I thought I already knew, but understood differently! Amen!”
This was to fulfill what was spoken through Isaiah the prophet: “HE (JESUS) HIMSELF TOOK OUR INFIRMITIES AND CARRIED AWAY OUR DISEASES.” Matthew 8:17
Jesus is still healing people today. If only, you can believe, He will heal you right now.
A Woman with 10 years Issue of Blood & Cancer of the Womb Healed Instantly.
Thirdly, a woman in Accra, Ghana, was instantly healed of the flowing of blood from her for 10 years by Jesus Christ.
And this is her story… “Brother before you called me to pray with me, this was my condition. Ten ago, I was diagnosed with fibroids because I started bleeding droplets of blood every day. This continued in increasing measure until a year ago when the blood suddenly started flowing from droplets to liters every day.
My condition was so bad that I had to be by a restroom all the time. Anywhere that I sit, despite the menstrual pad that I had to put on every day, blood will mess the chair or couch up so badly. Every bed that I sleep on, will also be messed up badly. I became so weak in my body that I had to be lying down all the time.
When you called me on the phone to pray with me, I had just been diagnosed with cancer of the womb. I was experiencing serious abdominal pains, as was the order of the day. I was so weak that I could not even lift my head but managed to pick the call.
As you started sharing the Word of God about Jesus Christ paying for my sins and my healing, strength entered. Something also that felt like a covering of curtain over me was lifted. Then the fear of death suddenly left me. I was also able to sit up to listen to you.
Then came up the time of prayer for me. Suddenly, I started shivering because I started feeling cold then as the prayer was going on, I started feeling very warm. Before this prayer, anytime I breathe in just a little heavily, blood will be flowing out of my body and there will be very severe abdominal pains. It happened every day.
As you were praying and said that Healing Angels are ministering to me, I felt as if I was being compelled to breathe in heavily, but this time when I did, the severe pain in my abdomen left and the blood also stop flowing. After the prayer, you asked me to get up and do what I couldn’t do before. Then I got up from the bed, and up, in strength for the very first in years. I also stepped out of the house to declare to the rest of the world that I am healed.
For days now, after my Miraculous Healing, I have not seen even one drop of blood coming out of me. I have been able to eat. I have been able to visit friends and family. God has healed me! Thank you so much for allowing God to use you to heal me. May God bless you and make you great and use you to bless the whole world.”
1 Peter 2:24 AMP He (Jesus) personally bore our sins in His [own] body on the tree [as on an altar and offered Himself on it], that we might die (cease to exist) to sin and live to righteousness. By His Wounds, you have been healed.
These 3 testimonies alone prove that Miraculous Healings are happening and they are for today. Only believe that Jesus is still alive and He is the LORD of all. Phil 2:9-11 NKJV says “Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him THE NAME which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”
I do walk in the Miraculous Healings because I am Filled with the Holy Spirit and with Power and His Manifest Presence is always with me.
